Having taking the title battle to the final race of 2014, Jason Plato and, reigning champion, Colin Turkington will line up on the 2015 British Touring Car Championship grid as teammates for the newly formed Volkswagen CC team.
Critics of the line-up will point towards their clash in the battle for the title at Brands Hatch in the final race of the 2014 season, which saw Plato disqualified from the first of the three races for pitching Turkington into retirement.
The Volkswagen CC team is owned and managed by driver Warren Scott, who lines up alongside Plato, Turkington and Aron Smith at the team.
The season launch at Donington Park saw both drivers separated by just eight thousands of a second and the top ten of the field within 0.8 seconds.
The Honda team retain the same line-up of Gordon Shedden and Matt Smith, who is due to race in his 25th season, whilst the Airwaves team are due to join the grid around the time of the fifth race at Croft.
Former two time World Touring Car Championship winner, Andy Priaulx also joins the grid for the 2015 season.
The first race of the season takes place at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit, in Kent, on the 4th and 5th April.
