Free activities and stalls are running in Spalding to support Mental Health Awareness Week.
The Happy Healthy Mind events will run each day from Saturday, 11 May, until Wednesday, 15 May at Ayscoughfee Hall in Spalding.
South Holland District Council, who are hosting the events, say: “There will be a variety of different free and relaxing activities on offer during the day for people of all ages and abilities to take part in, including relaxing exercise sessions like yoga and Pure Stretch, gardening activities, arts and crafts, mindfulness sessions, guided walks, equine therapy (Saturday only) and much more.
“As well as the activities, local organisations and groups will have stalls on the day to share more information on self-care and some of the services that are available in the District to help with mental health and wellbeing.”
It is reported that 1 in 4 people suffer from mental health issues each year.
